A young mother was killed when her car hit a median strip and collided with a tree, throwing her from the car.
Kimi Waaka, 25, was only minutes from home in Langford, Western Australia, when the crash occurred around 11pm on Saturday.
She was the sole occupant of the Suzuki hatchback.
Police say her car mounted the median strip and collided with a tree, the impact ejecting her from the car.
An investigation is now centred on whether she was wearing a seatbelt.
A relative paid tribute to Kimi on social media, calling her “one of the best people in my family”.
“You told me everything … and yes, I will always keep my promises on not hurting my loose joints at the gym,” he wrote.
