THE Town of Cambridge will work with the Department of Local Government to implement “improvements” recommended in its long-awaited inquiry report.
Recommendations included an independent governance review into the Town in the report, which Local Government Minister David Templeman tabled in Parliament in November.
The Town was given 35 days to advise what it had done or proposed to do to implement these, with a special council meeting held on the issue the night before the deadline.
A spokeswoman for Mr Templeman said the Town would now work with the Department to “implement the report recommendations”.
